Project Brief
The client required the pool installed level with the current driveway on a sloping block. This required an extensive retaining wall system topped with decking, design to create a platform for the 11m Contemporary pool with the pump house concealed beneath the deck.
The pool is screened from the driveway and working areas of the house using a rendered block wall and treated pine decking slats. The pool area is also linked to the house via a timber staircase which leads to an existing balcony. Glass fencing is used to take advantage of the expansive view and an Aussie HideawayTM conceals the pool cover underneath the deck. All these elements combine together to create a picturesque and peaceful rural retreat.
